Following an invitation from the PAPAGIANNIS MUSEUM in Elliniko of Ioannina and the Zografio School of Hellenic-Austrian Education, the Vergina Experimental Workshop presented the overall work of Makis Warlamis in the context of the 14th Sculpture Symposium.

The presentation included a video presentation of the Warlamis Museum in Austria, a speech by Pavlos Trochopoulos (member of the Vergina Experimental Workshop) on the topic: MAKIS WARLAMIS, THE OVERALL WORK OF THE GREEK OF THE DIASPORA AND HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH EPIRUS, while finally an excerpt was read from the short story of Warlamis, “On the Road to Metsovo” by the Epirus poetess, Panagiota Partheniou.

On the same day, original Warlamis paintings from the “ALEXANDROS 2000” and “THE MOUNTAINS OF MY HOMELAND” collections were presented, while the artist’s editions were also presented.

The presentation took place in the broader context of the Papagiannis Museum’s collaboration with the Warlamis Art Museum in Austria. The Austrian Museum participated in this year’s 14th Sculpture Symposium with two sculptors who worked on site and whose works will remain at the Papagiannis Museum.

A special evening that was embraced by the authorities of the wider region and by a large number of people.
